Solution
RFID solutions
QR Tech builds RFID solutions that identify inventory, assets and people without line of sight. We help choose tags and readers, and we build the software that turns thousands of automatic reads into accurate stock levels, asset locations and access records.

What we build
What's included
01
Tag and reader planning
UHF or HF tags and readers matched to your materials, ranges and volumes.
02
Read processing
Software that filters, de-duplicates and interprets raw RFID reads.
03
Inventory and asset views
Dashboards for stock levels, asset locations and movement history.
04
System integration
Connections to your ERP, warehouse or access systems.
How it works
Three steps from idea to rollout
Step 1
Assess the site
Materials, layout and processes that affect read accuracy.
Step 2
Pilot and tune
Test tags and readers in real conditions and tune the setup.
Step 3
Scale and integrate
Roll out across locations and connect reads to your systems.
Building blocks
Capabilities and technologies
Capabilities
Identify
Use QR, NFC, RFID and smart tags for identification, authentication and access.
Track
Enable tracking, attribution, analytics and interaction insights where applicable, with privacy in mind.
Automate
Build technology-driven workflows that reduce manual processes.
Technologies
- RFIDRadio identification that reads tags without line of sight, often many at once.
- Smart tagsLabels or inlays that carry a machine-readable identity, often combining QR, NFC and RFID.
- Software & cloudThe applications, APIs and integrations that make tags useful.
- AnalyticsInsight into how tags, touchpoints and workflows are used.
Where it applies
Industries
- RetailProduct information, authenticity checks and inventory visibility.
- LogisticsShipment and asset identification, tracking and proof of delivery.
- EducationCampus access, attendance, smart learning materials and equipment.
- HealthcareEquipment tracking and information access at the point of care.
- EnterpriseEmployee access, asset management, document tracking and workflows.
FAQ
Common questions
How is RFID different from barcodes?
Barcodes and QR codes need line of sight and are scanned one at a time. RFID tags are read by radio, often many per second, even inside boxes.
What is the read range of RFID?
It depends on the frequency and the tag. HF tags typically read at up to about a meter, while UHF tags often read at several meters.
