Solution

NFC solutions

QR Tech builds NFC solutions that let people tap a phone on a tag, card or product to open information, check authenticity or start an action. We select and program the NFC tags, and we build the experiences and software behind every tap.

What we build

What's included

  • 01

    Tag selection and encoding

The right NFC chips, formats and encoding for your products, cards and surfaces.

  • 02

    Tap experiences

Pages and actions that open the moment a phone touches the tag.

  • 03

    Product authentication

Tags with secure features that help verify a product is genuine, where the chip supports it.

  • 04

    Tag management

Software to assign, update and deactivate tags at scale.

How it works

Three steps from idea to rollout

  1. Step 1

    Choose the tag

Chip, size, range and mounting that suit the product and environment.

  2. Step 2

    Build the experience

What happens after the tap, connected to your systems.

  3. Step 3

    Encode and roll out

Program, test and deploy tags, then manage them over time.

FAQ

Common questions

Which phones can read NFC tags?

Most modern smartphones can. Recent iPhones read NFC tags in the background, and most Android phones read them when NFC is switched on.

What's the difference between NFC and QR?

QR codes are printed and read by the camera; NFC tags contain a small chip that's read with a tap. NFC feels faster and is harder to copy, while QR costs almost nothing to print.
