Education

QR Tech builds connected solutions for schools, colleges and universities: campus access, attendance, smart learning materials and equipment tracking. Students and staff use the phones and cards they already carry.

Challenges

What gets in the way today

  • Attendance and access are tracked by hand.

  • Shared equipment is hard to keep track of.

  • Printed materials can't link to current resources.

FAQ

Questions about education

Can students use their phones instead of cards?

In many cases, yes. Most modern phones can present an NFC credential, and QR codes work from any camera. Cards remain useful as a fallback and for visitors, so campuses often run both from the same identity records.

How does tag-based attendance work?

A reader at the room, or a code displayed in it, records a tap or scan against the session. It takes seconds per student and leaves a timestamped record, which replaces passing a sheet around and gives staff an accurate list straight away.
