FAQ
Questions about retail
What's the difference between RFID and barcodes for stock?
A barcode needs line of sight and one scan per item. UHF RFID reads many tags at once without line of sight, so a stock count that took hours can take minutes. Tags cost more than printed labels, which is why RFID usually starts with higher-value lines.
How can a tag help prove a product is genuine?
Some NFC chips support cryptographic authentication, so each tap can be checked against a record instead of just reading a number. Printed codes can be copied, so they suit information and engagement rather than authentication on their own.
